Disappointed

I was looking forward to reading a new Melody Anne series, but this book is a disappointing start. I liked the characters and the story was off to an intriguing start, however, somewhere in the middle it became rushed. I was left scratching my head and thinking I had skipped a chapter. Suddenly, they're a couple, then she's leaving him an ultrasound after an argument that was never really an argument. Again, I am a fan of Melody Anne's and will continue to read her books, but this was not her best effort.

Another awesome read from Melody Anne. She knows how to grab you and pull you right into a story. A new series of five spoiled brothers with too much time and too much money on their hands. When their father dies and puts restrictions on their inheritance the five boys all react the same way and walk away angry. Turbulent Intentions is about the oldest brother Cooper and Stormy. They had a one night stand six years earlier and now they are thrown together accidently on purpose by Cooper's Uncle who just happens to be an old friend of Joseph Anderson. An awesome love story. Fun and tears, laughter and love.

Melody Anne - Turbulent Intentions (Billionaire Aviators Series- Book 1)
A great new Series with Sexy Brothers that all love to fly planes. I had the privilege of reading the first version of this story: “Below the Radar” (The Billionaire Aviators-2013 -by Mary Joyce – which I assume is Ms. Anne) and is no longer available. I enjoyed that version and was waiting for the next book, but it never came.
The re-write is wonderful. It is a major overall, yet there are chunks of it that are the same. Perhaps for those of us that love Joseph Anderson and his meddling ways of playing cupid, this was a welcomed change. Joseph is friends with Uncle Sherman and he is assisting him with match Sherman’s nephews.
The series follows the Armstrong Brothers, who are wealthy and loving life. The brothers, in order: Cooper 30yo, Nick 29yo, Maverick 28yo, Ace 27yo (who is the most troubled one). Six years ago, their father passed away and the actual billions would not pass to them until they settled down and married. Each brother refused to let their father control them from his grave, so they made their own way.
Book 1 is Cooper’s story. Six years ago, after the will was read, all his brothers went out to get drunk. That is when Cooper (30) met Stormy (27) and they had one passionate night that neither forgot. She slipped out before morning and since they didn’t even know each other’s name, Cooper could not find her.
Six years later: Cooper loves to fly and even though he CEO and owned his own airline, he flies most of the time. Stormy is now working at a coffee shop in the airport and Cooper stops by, as usual. Stormy immediately recognized the man that has haunted his dreams. Cooper, however, didn’t recognize her at first. While disappointed, she decided that it had meant nothing to him as it had to her. The chemistry was still there, but no one moved on it, yet.
Stormy not only loses her job but is received an eviction notice and has nowhere to go. As she was sitting at a coffee shop near her apartment, she sees “Sherman”. For years, they have been friends and he has enjoyed her conversations and the care that she has for him. And, for years he has tried to help her financially, after all he is extremely rich, but she would not accept his money and chose to do it on her own. When she tells him that she has no place to go, he tells her that his nephew has a large home and is gone most of the time. He tells her that his nephew could use a house sitter. Uncle Sherman called his nephew, wait for it…. Cooper, and told him that he had a friend that needed a place to stay for a while. Reluctantly he agrees but only for a couple of weeks.
Stormy moves in and when Cooper comes home, he is shocked that it is “her”. It didn’t take long before the chemistry is off the charts and they could not keep their hands off each other. Everything was going so wonderful and she knew that she had fallen for him. Stormy had some news to tell Cooper that could change their lives, but, her trust in him was shattered when she saw a woman hugging him. Stormy left Cooper’s home, but as tragedy hit close to home, Stormy is concerned that she will not have the chance to tell Cooper that she loved him.
Is it too late for Stormy to tell him? Will they get their HEA? Don’t pass this series, you deserve to treat yourself.
